Infirmiers de rue (Street nurses): Emilie Meessen at TEDxMinesNancy

"Who among you has already used a wipe ?" Emilie Meessen begins her talk with this sentence and advocates hygiene as a solution for social rehabilitation of the homeless. By creating, in 2005, the society "Infirmiers de rue" (which means "street nurses"), and by braking the important taboo of cleanliness, she shows that improving oneself hygene allows him to rediscover humaness and dignity. She also show that nobody is homeless but silmply in a "without home" situation.
