Inspiring faithless societies: Yordan Agov TEDxAUBG

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Yordan Agov is a guy on a mission and little gets him down. He studied at the Lycée Français Victor Hugo de Sofia, The King's School, Canterbury and LSE. Meanwhile he interned at NATO and EU.During the crisis in England he tutored privately, founded a company and published a guidebook for the International Baccalaureate, which sold to schools internationally.In 2009 he started engaging in politics and began to actively and independently promote civil, political and entrepreneurial education by organizing regular meetings, events and seminars, mostly for young people. He was then working to reform the Bulgarian Armed Forces as a junior expert in the Ministry of Defense (MoD).He now works in the cabinet of a MEP and a year ago co-founded a successful cultural NPO, while working for other projects.
