International filmmakers at Asia’s largest film and TV market have welcomed opportunities to collaborate with the Chinese industry through the Belt and Road Initiative. Some of Hollywood’s best and brightest, including the producer of the Oscar-winning film Mad Max: Fury Road, as well as representatives from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and the Malaysian partner of famed Pinewood Studios took part in the 20th edition of the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART). More than 800 exhibitors showcased their latest offerings at FILMART, which took place 14-17 March 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
