Montana and America's Energy Future: Eric Stern at TEDxWhitefish

Eric Stern is a Montana public official, writer, TV commentator, lawyer and political strategist. He was senior counsel to Governor Brian Schweitzer from 2005-2013 and was recently appointed Deputy Secretary of State. He has also written for Salon magazine about national politics, law and media, and for the New York Times about Montana history. He has lately become a frequent guest on the political TV circuit, including MSNBC, CNN and Bloomberg TV. His writings on the media coverage of the Affordable Care Act were widely debated and received critical
coverage in the New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, and Media Matters.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
