This year's Hajj has lived-up to record-breaking predictions, with more than 2-million people arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage. All pandemic restrictions had been lifted by authorities, as pilgrims defied sweltering temperatures and rising prices to perform one of the five pillars of Islam. The final days of Hajj coincide with Eid al-Adha, one of the biggest holidays in the Islamic calendar when Muslims give to charity, feast and spend time with their families.
