Morocco fans celebrate as their national team advance to the semi-finals, winning 1-0 at Qatar’s Al Thumama Stadium, where Portugal suffered its first defeat at the quarter-final stage in the history of the World Cup.

Having become the first Arab and African country to reach the semi-finals of the tournament, Morocco will either compete with France or England at the next round, which is set to take place on Dec 14, Wednesday.
