Outdoor Adventures of an Office Worker: Earl Uprichard at TEDxShelburneFalls

Earl is an outdoor enthusiast. In 2012 he began organizing local outings for a group of intrepid hikers. As a trip leader, Earl provides a mechanism for adventure seekers to challenge themselves and supports them in reaching and exceeding their personal goals. During the week Earl is Program Director at a group home in Greenfield, Massachusetts USA where he is responsible for program development, implementation of clinical plans and crisis intervention for clients with intellectual disabilities.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
