Buses have been leaving the southeastern Ukrainian city of Berdyansk, filled with residents of neighbouring Mariupol. Another convoy from Mariupol is heading to nearby Zaporizhzhia.

The Red Cross is helping and says it's got too many descriptions of the horrors Mariupol's residents have faced. The tens of thousands who are still trapped urgently need assistance, but Ukraine says the Russians are not allowing anything in, not even small amounts. Mehmet Solmaz reports.
