Pat Hymel, MD, is an entrepreneur-physician intently focused on patient safety issues. Pat's devotion is to ensure technology improves patient outcomes without disrupting the clinician-patient relationship. His current venture is MedSnap ID, a mobile medication technology.

TEDxBirmingham 2014 - "Rediscover the Magic" - was held on March 1, 2014 at UAB's Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham, Alabama. 15 speakers plus several artistic performers spread their ideas with cross-disciplinary mix of attendees from the Magic City, ranging from civic and business leaders to professionals, educators, technologists, and artists.
