A bungee rocket ride cable broke mid-air, leaving terrified riders dangling several metres above ground in China’s northern province of Liaoning on August 4.

An investigation has been launched into the reason behind the malfunction, which caused no injuries, but left riders “understandably traumatised,” according to park staff.
