Michael Schroeder, a historian, professor, and environmental activist, has a very interesting and humorous perspective on garbage. His talk focuses on the causes of, and cures for, a very serious problem that affects us all.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
