To mark the 14th anniversary of the Syrian uprising, roses and tulips were dropped from a helicopter over Damascus.
A video released on Saturday, March 15, showed the helicopter flying above Umayyad Square, showering crowds with flowers in a gesture symbolising the victory of Syria’s revolution.
In 2024, anti-regime groups led by Ahmed al Sharaa’s HTS ousted Bashar Al-Assad’s regime, ending decades of dynastic rule.
