Enrique's mantra is access for all to the best education, and to the power tools technology develops in traditional and non-traditional settings.

His is an invocation, a call to action to educate youth so they have an fighting chance to change our future and their personal situation.

His talk starts with "a chalk" and closes with a passionate call and promise.

Innovator, Teacher, Chief of Staff - Boyle Heights, Technology Evangelist of Boyle Heights, and its Native Son. wil.i.am founder of the Black Eyed Peas and his foundation kidnapped Enrique from the classroom to oversee educational policy, program operations with inspiraton and develop key partnerships with global technology companies. He is a "tweacher", because he promoted the use of social media and Twitter in the classroom as a key component to his pedagogy for the new century.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
