This Snowy Owl came in from the Waterville area near Krogers. He is non-releasable. He has a badly fractured wing near the elbow, loaded with lice, emaciated, and not taking well to captivity. We have him on pain meds, antifungals, antibiotics, and medications to deal with his stress. The best we can hope for is to place him for education...but only if he can adapt to life in captivity. It isn't fair to put an animal through that if it means constant stress. But before we can even consider that...he has a lot medically to overcome.
