This project will promote sustainable and organic agriculture practices by developing a community composting programme within a World Heritage Site. The goal of the proeject is to: "develop a viable communtiy composting industry which will reduce the deterioration in soil quality and the pollution of water bodies".

The program will establish an efficient system for the colleciton of kitchen waste from area hotels and schools; construct 24 wind-row aerated compost pits between the grantee's organic farm, schools and area farms; providing trainings to farmers in aerated wind-row composting techniques; and undertaking ducation programme in schools.
