Holly Moseley addresses the gap between adults and youth with simple ways to make an impact on others. She encourages adults to engage in meaningful conversations with teens, paying attention to what they have to say. Does everyone who comes into contact with you know they are loved?

Holly Moseley is storyteller and poet. She has worked with children and young adultsfor over 45 years, in Scouting, church groups, as a substitute teacher, and as a full-time middle school teacher. She is the mother of three sons, who are now influencing those with whom they come in contact.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
