The Artist's Covenant | Anne Tye | TEDxJesmondDene

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Creativity fostered in the most unexpected ways!

Married to glassmaker Roger Tye, Anne has been attached to the Creative Industries for more than 30 years in a variety of roles. She was a director of their own studio for 15 years, where she led the marketing effort, selling Roger's work to galleries throughout the UK and exporting to 28 countries.

Currently, employed by Sunderland City Council, Anne works with the Creative Industries sector providing support and aiming to develop a stronger creative economy in the city.

Her two adult children are also involved in the creative sector: Kathryn is a voluntary Treasurer and Development Manager for a creative charity and Matt, is a freelance graphic designer.
