The care and feeding of hedgefoxes: PETER LUNENFELD at TEDxRoma

Critic and theorist of digital media, is a leading figure in digital aesthetic theory, set on establishing philosophical quandaries regarding digital technology and its role in art, design, and culture. He is a professor in the Design and Media Arts department of UCLAWe are living in the age of digital humanities. The goal of this new era is the hybridization of new content and old know how: the creation of hedgefoxes, capable of ranging wide, but also of going deep, of not just getting out of the box but digging deep under it to make the past relevant to the present and valuable to the future.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
