Disruptive Thoughts: PASQUALE FEDELE at TEDxRoma

With Fedele as its CEO in 2011, Liquidweb -- a startup specialized in the development of products and services of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) -- and the team created a technology that allows patients diagnosed with ALS to communicate through neural pulses. A number of stories of people with serious diseases as ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is the goal of Pasquale. He is working to change these stories and to create the way to communicate for the people with ALS in locked-in status. Some of them now are able to be in contact with their relatives and friends thanks to the power of thought.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
