The Infinite Possibilities of Fear and Anxiety: Mia Haas-Goldberg at TEDxConnecticutColleg

Mia Haas-Goldberg is a CISLA scholar and student of International Relations and History at Connecticut College. She is a member of the Women's Varsity Rowing team, a solo cellist and ukulelist, and a spoken word enthusiast. With a strong interest in human rights, immigration, and security studies, she is currently conducting research on the ability of French media to influence national reconciliation with France's Algerian and Tunisian past. She is an advocate of creative problem solving, reading for pleasure, and spending time outdoors.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
