The space between multicultural collaboration for creativity: Jason Slatinsky@TEDxSuzhou

Born in Cleveland and raised near Oberlin, Ohio, Jason has continuously pursued academic and professional experiences that challenge the normative condition and offer enlightenment to cultural- and thus intellectual - diversification.
Throughout Jason's diverse professional experience (a design technician, associate designer, assistant professor and lecturer, design director and company principal) and personal experience (living in Ohio, North Carolina, Florida and Louisiana; Italy; and China), design has remained the primary way, or constant, in which he sees and understands his surroundings. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
