Jorge Symonds is a communications profesional in the Hermosillo, MX area. At his age he has worked in over 15 different trades and used to set his sights on leaving his hometown to pursue a promised better life in a bigger city.

He later discovered that to be more a senseless syndrome that affects most of small cities residents and becomes a serious threat to ones growth and fulfillment.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
