Triple Voice: Michael Moor at TEDxGundeldingen

At the tender age of nine, Michael Moor first performed as a beatboxer. Driven by his passion for music, he won third place at the Swiss youth music competition with the harp in 2008. Now a third-year medical student, he can look back on co-founding three organisations concerning critical thinking, global poverty and scientific exchange. Since 2010 he's been beatboxing in the a capella group "The Glue" which has been touring through Europe, Asia, Africa, and the US. A musical highlight he'll never forget was his performance in front of 20'000 people at Kaohsiung (Taiwan) in autumn 2012. In his performance, 21-year-old Michael introduces you to the world of triple voice beatboxing. Prepare to be amazed.

Im frühen Alter von Neun Jahren trat Michael Moor zum ersten Mal als Beatboxer auf. Seine Leidenschaft für Musik verschaffte ihm den Dritten Platz am Schweizer Jugendmusikwettbewerb 2008. Der Medizinstudent im Dritten Jahr ist Mitbegründer von verschiedenen Organisationen, die sich mit Themen, wie beispielsweise kritischem Denken, globaler Armut und wissenschaftlichem Austausch beschäftigen. Seit 2010 ist er als Beatboxer Mitglied der A-Capella-Gruppe "The Glue". Die Gruppe war bereits in Europa, Asien, Afrika und den USA auf Tournee. Ein musikalisches Highlight, das er nie vergessen wird, sei der Auftritt vor einer Kulisse von 20'000 Zuschauern in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) im Herbst 2012. Der 21-jährige Michael wird uns auf eine erstaunliche Reise in die Welt des dreistimmigen Beatboxing mitnehmen.
