To beat the previous record set by the Australians with 69 cars doing a burnout at the same time, HOT ROD magazine organized a record-beating 73-car smokefest at zMax Dragway in North Carolina on the final day of HOT ROD Power Tour 2013. Check it out! We'll also post a more polished video later on. HOT ROD Power Tour 2013 is presented by Chevrolet Performance and driven by Continental Tire. And these guys need new tires! The record here will be unofficial until approved by the Guinness Book of World Records. The application has been sent.
