Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was in Kiev on Wednesday, reassuring Ukraine of US support. Blinken is expected to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva on Friday, to discuss concerns about their respective military activities, and to de-escalate tensions.
