WWOOFing--A home in every state: Alfredo Salkeld at TEDxUCF

My experience with the organization WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms).

Alfredo is a freshman who embraces the fact that his name is synonymous with a popular menu item at Olive Garden. He was born in Lima, Peru but South Florida is home. He was self-diagnosed with a severe case of "insatiable wanderlust". Aside from studying advertising, Alfredo is constantly on the prowl for everyday adventures. These include filming videos at a bee yard, working on a blueberry farm, and learning to unicycle. In short, he lives by a simple mantra which is tattooed on his wrist. "Go." This single-syllable phrase is a reminder to never cease seeking new experiences.


About TEDx, x = independently organized event
