Beyond the Artwork: Beth Nybeck at TEDxWyandotte

Visionary, artist and large-scale metal sculptor. Beth's metal masterpieces have been created for places like Concourse Park, Kansas City, Mo., the John Wayne International Airport, Orange County, Calif. and the National Special Olympic Torch, and Lincoln, Neb., just to name a few. Beth lives and works in the Crossroads Arts District located in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. It is her belief that artwork has the ability to influence people, communities, and the world at large. Nybeck uses her passion in sculpting metal to connect her ideas to those around her.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
