This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Olgierd Kosiba explains why we are so wrong about sign language and its users, and how the knowledge of this language system can enrich our communication skills.

Olgierd Kosiba is a Polish sign language expert and lecturer, and one of the co-authors of the Polish sign language encyclopedia.
