Ruth and I love to drive to 'Big Bend National Park' in either December or January. Usually the weather is perfect, the skies clear and fewer people in the park.. The park has over 800,000 acres. The millions of acres surrounding the park are also very interesting. The Park is the largest and least visited national park in the USA. Driving or hiking the area you will see Javilina's, Ring tail Cats, Coyotes, Foxes and over 70 other mammals. The park is home to over 450 species of birds.
