Calling All Superheros: Patty Pansing Brooks at TEDxLincolnWomen

Patty is a daughter, sister, mother, wife, community activist, attorney and friend and she shares her thoughts about the superhero that exists in each of us. We get it through our genetics, our education and our experiences. Her challenge in this presentation is to get involved and recruit those around you to join you. She feels that our superpowers are like love, when you use them they grow and benefit not only you but your community. Her life she's had humanitarians, organizers, collaborators and visionaries, all of whom helped her develop her yearn to dig in and make a difference in her community. She challenged the audience to be a superpower with her.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
