Center Hill Dam and Powerhouse history is literally on the marker, at least a Tennessee state historical marker. Local community leaders and Corps officials dedicated the two-sided historical marker Oct. 27, 2015 that highlights the technical significance of Center Hill Dam and Powerhouse and the project’s authorized purposes, which include recreation, hydropower, and flood risk reduction.
