Pete writes and blogs extensively about the business of creativity - drawing on thirty years of experience of working as a freelancer in the sector. He is business editor/expert for craft&design magazine, and creates content for a wide range of magazines and blogs in the UK and overseas.
He delivers talks, training events, seminars and professional development programmes for universities, colleges, businesses and arts organisations across the UK. His latest book -- Make Your Creativity Pay, was published in July 2011. Pete's second book 'The Art of Shouting Quietly - a guide to self-promotion for introverts and other quiet souls' will be available May 2014.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
