An accomplished digital strategist, Rachel Segal has spent more than a decade working with some of the largest brands in the world on their social media and content marketing programs. In 2012, Rachel and her partner Scott moved out of the city and onto a remote island homestead, where she continues to freelance for a number of agencies and companies...in between milking goats, feeding chickens and planting seeds.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
