Hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers' Contest (YDC) has been playing a significant role in identifying emerging talent for the local fashion industry over the past years. The 2014 YDC awards ceremony took place 14 January, with Nelson Leung named Overall Winner and Contemporary Day Wear Group Winner.
