In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. Sereni Linggi, a property manager and Shen-Tel Lee, a graphics designer, are two best friends turned accidental headband designers. Founded in 2009, the headband label Sereni & Shentel are now stocked in stores all over Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan and New Zealand and have appeared on US hit television shows Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives.
