With sights set on extending its reach across developing markets, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels is developing new properties in Turkey and Myanmar, both countries fitting well with the Belt and Road Initiative, says Clement Kwok. The company’s CEO expects the Initiative to provide long-term impetus in developing countries to support the luxury hospitality sector.
