The more than 60 partner countries on China’s Belt and Road Initiative should implement synergies to overcome challenges and risks, says Professor Liu Mingkang, former Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission. He says the Initiative should be “clean, green and transparent” with China being a “good listener” to recipient countries. Hong Kong has a very important role as a global financial centre, he says.
