When you think of Batman, healthcare probably isn't the first thing that pops into mind. Nick Dougherty hopes to change that. Nick shares his story of how a childhood obsession with the dark knight led him down a path to try to solve the issues plaguing the healthcare system, eventually leading to his creation of Verbal Applications.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
