How to Own It : Jimmy Ramirez at TEDxGeorgetown

Jimmy Ramirez is a Junior at Georgetown University, studying Government, Justice & Peace, and Film & Media. During his senior year of high school, Jimmy and his family became homeless due to an insurmountable amount of financial and emotional stress. He is currently a consultant for the California Homeless Youth Project, a policy initiative that is committed to bringing an end to youth homelessness in the state. In his TED talk, he will be reflecting on his story and how he has grappled with the term "homeless". He will share how his circumstances have taught him how to live fearlessly through struggle.
