This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Shamal Boyagoda, took us on his Journey to the Wilderness (Antarctica) and how it brought out the concept of Sustainable Leadership. While exploring the continent, his team came across one problem: why are there lots of cracks on the ground of a continent that's twice as large as Australia? He explains how an ice mass so exponentially larger than a human that the scale is barely valid.

This young and energetic leader of only 29 years is the Operations Manager at MAS Holdings. He is a past pupil of the Royal College Colombo and has a degree in Applied science from RMIT Australia as well as a MBA from the University of Wales UK. Further, he has gone through executive education at NUS Singapore, Aots Japan, Sir Robert Swarn IAE 2041 sustainable leadership -- Antarctica, Doug Adams leadership and MAS Lean systems. He holds a Black Belt and is the Co founder of the "Association for Sustainable champions" Sri Lanka. He is a motivational speaker on sustainable leadership for he is a true believer on the global need for sustainable champions and leaders.
