Stephen Foster fell in love with computer science early in his college career and wanted to share his passion with the world. Starting with the story of its forefather, Alan Turing, and following it to modern day with Minecraft, Foster explains and demonstrates why coding is important to everyone living in today's world because it touches every facet of life, from a few hours relaxing with a game to winning World War II.


In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
