When iconic Canadian entertainer and Order of Canada recipient Fred Penner was a boy he bought a 'red chicken' for 25 cents and it became a special pet. In his TEDxLaurierUniversity talk, Fred Penner describes how everyone can view the world with wonder and awe and that everyone can make a difference in the lives of others.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
