A Russian Antonov-24 passenger plane carrying 43 people, including five children and six crew, has crashed with no survivors, according to state media.

The aircraft vanished from radar before rescue teams discovered it engulfed in flames in the remote Amur region of eastern Russia. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
