Safe Inside Yourself: Cynthia Loy Darst at TEDxOlympicBlvdWomen

Cynthia Loy Darst, MCC, is a pioneer in professional development, personal development and Executive Coaching. As a past-President of ACTO (Association of Coach Training Organization) and over 20-years as a professional Co-Active Coach, she has actively campaigned to raise awareness of the power of working with a personal or executive coach.

As an in-demand speaker, trainer, content contributor, and collaborator, Cynthia's fingerprint can be felt throughout the industry through her powerful presence virtually, on-stage and in front of the room. At her core, she is fascinated by people. This talk is inspired by the thousands of individuals she has had the pleasure of working with, and the common themes witnessed worldwide.

Cynthia is on the faculty of two coach training schools: The Coaches Training Institute and CRR Global, and has worked with people all over the world. She and her husband, David Darst, enjoy working with their coaching clients through their company, The Inspiration Point.

In her TEDxOlympicBlvdWomen talk, Cynthia Loy Darst answers the question, "How can you feel safe within yourself? Safe from the nasty, loud and whiny thoughts that occur between your ears?" Most of us go through life bullying ourselves or tolerating loud repetitive thoughts that don't seem to go away. When we feel truly safe in ourselves, we can imagine, we can create, we can take risks and have stronger relationships. Her playful, direct talk challenges us each to hear those sometimes destructive thoughts in a new way for the sake of inner-peace and productivity.
