Investments from Chicago and Hong Kong have changed the Asian fortunes of once ailing music and film retailer HMV, according to CEO, Asia, Robert Esser. Hong Kong’s “white knight”, private equity firm AID Capital Partners, is helping transform the iconic store chain across the region with vinyl records, movie brands and lifestyle outlets.
