Why do girls shy away from tech? Alice Bentinck, co-founder of Entrepreneur First, thinks that boys shouldn’t rule the tech world. She speaks about the innovative potential of young female minds in the digital world, and in particular those she herself has mentored as part of the newly-founded initiative, CodeFirst: Girls.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
