The Power of Passion: Gwen Lister at TEDxWindhoek

Gwen Lister was both the founder and editor of The Namibian newspaper from 1985 to 2011. She was the first woman newspaper editor in southern Africa.

Currently, she devotes much of her time to the mentoring and training of a wide array of journalists from across the media spectrum and an array of other Namibian publications.

She travel regionally and abroad to speak and moderate issues around media freedom and ethics. Lister has received a number of international and regional awards.
