You Are Worthy of Your Dreams: Karlee Berezay at TEDxWeberStateUniversity

Karlee Berezay is a Senior at Weber State University studying Sociology and Psychology. She currently holds the position of LGBT Advocate for the Lesbian Gay Bisexual, and Transgender Resources on campus. She has previously held positions on the diversity board and club presidencies. She is 24 and loves her partner, friends, family, and her two cats. She someday hopes to be a Counselor working specifically with Transgender Youth and Transgender Awareness Issues. She is inspired by social movements, student organizations, and Equality. She will be presenting on the topic You Are Worthy of Your Dreams a guide to appreciating where you are now and other clever tales of being a student.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
