Art & Iconic Brands: Timothy Raines at TEDxTampaBay

Artist Timothy Raines' background is multi-dimensional, with a long history in high tech. Timothy started with Dell Computers in the pre-dot com days and went on to executive sales positions at HP, EDS and Siemens. Following a Masters Degree from the University of Texas in Science and Technology Commercialization, Timothy consulted early stage advanced technologies in the US, India, Mexico, Hungary, and the Ukraine. Today, Timothy captures the essence of the icons of luxury and sporting lifestyle through his unique style--art of iconic brands that stand for something more than mere materialism; creations that were launched by craftsmen, artists, thinkers and creators that set out to build something better and lasting.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
