The Belt and Road Summit on 18 May 2016 could determine what, when and where progress is made in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, according to Swire Pacific Chairman John Slosar. He says the Belt and Road is a monumental project, which at its core is “about better, cheaper and faster logistics”. He says there are ample opportunities for Swire, with transport and logistics significant in the Hong Kong-based conglomerate’s portfolio.
